American College of Surgeons & Association of Program Directors in Surgery

Resident Core Competency Assessment System Pilot Project

Thank you for participating in this pilot project of the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Program Directors in Surgery. Our collective goal is to develop a core competency assessment instrument for general surgery residents that will enable program directors to align learning objectives and outcomes associated with the ACGME core competencies. Your participation and suggestions will assist us in developing a valid, reliable, and feasible resident assessment instrument that ultimately will be available to all general surgery residency programs. If you have any difficulties with this portion of the Web site, please contact support@residencycentral.com or call (312) 202 5556, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM, central time. Thank you again for participating in this important project.
